You are the magician, obviously. Two years ago today we were talking about getting stronger, and you called me the strongest woman in the world. You told me to speak it into creation. At the time I’d not long discovered the gym in my late thirties, after spending a decade fat and unfit. Two weeks ago on a bad lifting day, failing publicly on a stage in front of hundreds of people, I qualified for the Powerlifting World Championships. I am not the same human now. I am owning who I am, the person our words created.
